So, my wedding is four days away. I'm not nervous, but I'm definitely glad we worked out all the details well ahead of time, because the last thing I can imagine doing right now is.. all that stuff. And I'm pretty excited now.. especially since I've finished making all eighty favors.

I think I'll continue to bask in the moment just a little longer... ok, that's long enough. I still have two more days of work left, and lots (er.. all) of packing left to do.

Our friend Dan turned 30 this weekend, so we all got together in Watertown for some excellent Persian food. The restaraunt was BYOB, so we certainly did!

Over the course of the evening, the requisite level of hijinks was met, of course. And Kym didn't hold back with the beatings. Dan got plenty of birthday beatings at the dinner. Dan likes birthday beatings. Or so I'm told. Well, not told really. But I'm guessing that he's down with birthday beatings, all of us men are.

I recently bought a Nikon D40 (and a D50 just before that, long story, forget I mentioned it) in preparation for the upcoming honeymoon. Seattle, Vancouver, a week-long cruise to Alaska.. you know, crazy photo opportunities.

So, I've wanted to get more into photography for a while, and finally bit the bullet and got myself a nice camera. And I've been taking a lot of photos lately, learning how not only aperture, shutter speed, and ISO affect things, but also that I need to take about a million shots to find one that looks just right. Still, in the midst of all this experimenting, I've managed to take a few nice shots.
